3/8 Update: E-Verify Updates SSA TNC Process
On March 4, 2021, the Social Security Administration (SSA) Tentative Nonconfirmation (TNC) process was updated.
Previously, employees who received an SSA TNC with a citizenship mismatch would need to visit an SSA field office to resolve their case. Now, employees who receive this status on their E-Verify have the option to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in order to resolve their case.
If the DHS is able to resolve the issue, the employee will not need to visit an SSA field office.
If you have any questions, please contact your sales executive, account manager, or our customer service team.
