Bulletin No. 4-2021 released on March 24, 2021 by the Arkansas Insurance Department instructs all applicable organizations to review internal records on its appointed Arkansas producers and business entities (insurance agencies) to determine if the company will renew each appointment. Initiating the renewal of a producer's appointment denotes that the appointing company has properly evaluated the producer's background history and fitness to continue to act as an agent of the company.

Appointed producers and business entities can be researched by visiting the License Division page on the Arkansas Insurance Department website at:

Please note that agency appointments are now separate from the producer appointments; a direct appointment for the agency and for each producer doing business with the company under the agency license is required.

Eligible appointment renewals include all appointments identified as active and in effect as of May 24, 2021. Any appointments not being renewed should be terminated by this date via the NIPR website. Starting at 8:00 a.m. CST on June 1, 2021, NIPR will be activating the site to accept company renewal appointments. This functionality will be deactivated at 4:00 p.m. CST on July 1, 2021.
